Trent University

Trent University, a public liberal arts college in Peterborough, Ontario, was established in 1964. The university is renowned for its small class sizes and Oxbridge college system. The Oxbridge college system appears to the uninitiated to be a collection of structures, frequently beautiful and historically significant, that make up a small, self-contained community. Each college complex includes housing for students, common areas, cafes and bars, libraries, computer labs (often open round-the-clock), and staff offices. According to US News & World Report's Global Universities ranking for 2021, Trent University is ranked 1436 overall. Prior to this, the university was ranked 1270 for 2019 and 2020. The university dropped a few positions in the rating criteria.
