I have been a student at the University of Maryland for a year now. I have never felt so welcome on campus as I do now. The food is amazing, the professors are great, and the housing options are just as good as in most other universities in the area. On top of that, there are plenty of opportunities to make money outside of classes.

UMD is a very different University with an excellent environment and small size. The school offers a wide variety of opportunities for students, regardless of their field of study. While the university has suffered financial difficulties in recent years, it is trying to remain relevant and expand its job market.
