The majority of language exams and qualifications that meet the University's minimal English requirements have a two-year validity period prior to the start date.
Before being admitted to the University of Adelaide, students who do not have the required level of English must successfully finish an intensive English language programme. Academic English (PEP Pathway) is an appropriate English language programme offered by the University's English Language Centre in Adelaide. For prospective students who have obtained offers to the University of Adelaide conditional on English competence, the PEP Method provides an alternate entry pathway.
