Popular UK public research institution Newcastle University is a part of the esteemed Russell Group. Newcastle's remarkable performance over the years has been maintaining its standards in every area while raising its standing. In 2016, the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU, Shanghai ranking) ranked the university between 301 and 400, but as of 2017, it has been ranked between 201-300. Reputable institutions, including the Association of MBAs (AMBA), EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, have officially accredited more than half of Newcastle University's degrees (AASCB). Newcastle is renowned for its degrees in business and finance. It has improved its standing in topic rankings, just like in university rankings. In its PG Business and Economics ranking, THE placed it between 176 and 200 in 2018 but between 126 and 150 in 2021. In addition, the QS Global MBA Ranking ranked it in the 201+ range in 2018. However, since 2020, it has been ranked between 151-200. This demonstrates that Newcastle has tried to enhance its instruction, research, and other performance indicators.
