Whether you're a first-year undergraduate, an international student, or a postgraduate student wishing to live in halls, Oxford has several fantastic options, including Peel Park Quarter, which was voted the second-best hall of residence in the UK by Student Hut in 2020.
Campus Living Villages (CLV), one of the university's lodging partners, manages two villages: Peel Park Quarter and John Lester and Eddie Colman Courts.
You have the option of living at Peel Park Quarter or John Lester and Eddie Colman Courts if you are applying for your first year at university. You can only apply for John Lester and Eddie Colman Courts if you are a returning or postgraduate student.
In either case, you'll be able to enjoy student life in a spacious environment that's only a short distance from your studies.
Peel Park Quater:
We're happy to work in conjunction with the University of Salford to run our halls. Peel Park Quarter is in a fantastic location, just a short bus ride from Salford Quays and Manchester city centre.
Student Hut ranked us the second-best student hall in the UK in 2020. In addition, there are games consoles, pool tables, study places, a gym, and two cinema rooms in this community.
John Lester and Eddie Colman Court
The village is in a great location, with the Frederick Road campus right outside your door and the main Peel Park campus and its amenities only a 15-minute walk away.
There are a variety of room kinds to choose from, all with varying costs. We have flats that are specifically designed for first-year students, as well as flats that are more popular with returning students and post-graduates seeking a more relaxed environment.
On-site amenities include common rooms, a shared kitchen, quiet study spaces, laundry facilities, and a free on-site gym reserved exclusively for John Lester and Eddie Colman residents.

I went to University of Salford for my undergraduate degree in English and I loved it. The teachers are so knowledgeable and the staff is incredibly friendly. I will definitely be going back for my masters next year, as well as continue writing for the school newspaper. It's a comfortable university with competitive courses, but also has a diverse community and is a great place

I was accepted into the University of Salford for one year as an English Language student. I arrived from a country where English was not taught in high school, so I had to quickly catch up on the language and culture. The staff and professors were very helpful to my process of learning, as were the other students. The university is diverse and has a wide range

It's easy going to the university of Salford. The campus is quite small but it doesn't feel claustrophobic. There are lots of different people with different interests that can easily be met by joining a society or socialising with friends. The accommodation is comfortable, the staff are very helpful and the tuition fees are affordable
