- Founded in 1896, Adelphi University was the first private and co-educational university on Long Island. Its main campus was in Garden City, with three other campuses in Hudson Valley, Suffolk County, and Manhattan Centre. The university provides undergraduate, graduate, on-campus, and online programs.
- Candidates can choose from over 60 undergraduate courses, including art history, marketing, neuroscience, philosophy, etc., and more than 65 graduate programs in accounting, biotechnology, psychoanalytic supervision, nutrition, etc. Some of the top programs offered by the university are nursing, general psychology, biology, and business administration & management. I chose Adelphi University because of its beautiful campus and the fact that it is a private university. I love how diverse the community is, especially at this school. The facilities are amazing; all classrooms have modern technology like LCD projectors, whiteboards, computer labs with internet access and laptops for students to use during class time.

I am a student at Adelphi University and I think it is the best university in my country. It has great facilities, good faculty, friendly campus and so many more. The first thing that impressed me about this school was its inclusive nature. There are students from all over the world here which makes for an exciting learning environment. On top of that you have some really cool clubs like the swim club where you can learn how to swim or even join sports teams if you want to get into shape! You also have a lot of opportunities with internships and placements as well as getting involved in your community through service projects such as volunteering or helping out homeless people on campus because they always need help!
