University Ranking

Alabama, in the United States, is home to Auburn, a public research institution. It is the second-largest university in Alabama and one of the two publicly funded flagship institutions for the state. It has continually kept its position as one of the top ranked services. Between 2017 and 2020, Auburn was ranked by ARWU (Shanghai Ranking) between 501 and 600, and by THE (Times Higher Education) between 601 and 800. In the QS World University Ranking, Auburn dropped from position 701-750 in 2017 to position 801-1000 in 2018. It has been ranked by QS between 801 and 1000 since this year. In all majors, admission to Auburn is competitive and very selective. International applicants, like all other students, must have a strong academic record in order to be evaluated for admission.

Requirements for Undergraduates

All international freshmen and freshmen transfer applicants with less than 30 semester credit hours must take the ACT or SAT. Applicants must also pass the following core curricular requirements by the conclusion of their final year of high school:

  • English (four years)
  • Social sciences (three years)
  • Algebra I and II, as well as Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, or Analysis are required (three years)
  • Biology and Physical Sciences with a Laboratory Component are included under Science (two years)

Requirements for PG

  • A bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) from an authorised college or university is required.
  • GRE (optional)
  • Management, Finance, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Accountancy degrees all require the GMAT.
