Internships

Internships are a great method for students to obtain significant work experience and explore career options in fields related to their major while also fulfilling their degree requirements. Several degrees require an internship, and students might choose to complete more as an elective. Students can obtain internships on their own, with the help of the faculty internship advisor, family and friends, or the Vocation and Professional Development office.

Students' Instructions

  • Before you may register for the internship class, you must first acquire an internship
  • Internship requirements include 120-150 hours of learning new skills (depending on your major). This could be accomplished through a company-sponsored internship, a part-time job, or specific tasks at your existing workplace
  • Please arrange an appointment with Career Services through Handshake if you need help finding an internship

I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering an education in the Houston area, as the tuition fees were affordable as well...I really enjoyed my time there!
