One of the richest private universities in the US is Duke University, which was established in 1838. Additionally, it ranks highly in producing foreign scholars. With its top calibre teaching research, Duke has impressed major ranking suppliers. It has received top rankings for higher education institutions not just in the US but also internationally. Since 2017, THE has ranked it among the top 20 colleges worldwide. Career and professional development are highly valued in the Department of Statistical Science. Through our ProSeminar class and various courses, the university provides in-house support with resume writing, interviewing, communication, and presentation skills. In addition, possible companies and alumni come to the department particularly to offer MSS students information sessions, networking opportunities, and recruitment events. Throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, the department hosts a variety of career activities, including MSS Industry Day, Alumni Day, and the MS and PhD. Graduate Career Fair (sponsored by the Duke Career Center), among others.
