Academic Requirements:

Undergraduate

Applicants must have completed their home country's highest level of secondary education. A solid secondary academic programme with math, science, and English courses is preferred.

Postgraduate:

A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 is necessary for a US bachelor's degree or the equivalent. If students have not finished their undergraduate curriculum, admission will be conditional on providing a final transcript that includes the degree and the date it was awarded.

MBA:

Admission requires a 3.0 GPA in prior academic work. In extreme situations, a GPA of less than 3.0 may be considered for conditional admission to the College of Business. Students admitted on a conditional basis must earn a 3.0 GPA in the first semester to continue their chosen study programme.

The admissions committee requires a minimum GMAT score of 550. If the scores exceed the minimum, applications are nevertheless considered for admission. The official copy of the GMAT score must be submitted for the admission application to be processed.

I studied abroad at Stony Brook University and enjoyed my time there. The classes were challenging, the professors were knowledgeable, and I met a lot of interesting people. The only thing that was not great was the cost of living, but you could budget your meal plan to make it worth your while.
