A business-related Master's degree at GCNYC lays emphasis on practical applications of applied research, whereas most other business degrees usually focus on theory and management.

Social responsibility and impact are central aspects of the Master of Science degrees in business, sustainable fashion and risk management.
  •  The coursework is inspired by the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. GCNYC allows international students to pursue their Master of Science degree on an F-1 student visa. International students with an F-1 visa are eligible for U.S. citizenship and Immigration Services.

The following sections discuss the eligibility requirements for various courses.

Criteria for UG Students' Eligibility

The grades and qualifications required for admission vary depending on the programme and personal factors such as the student's home country. SQA Highers, IB, and A-Levels are the key prerequisites taken into account throughout the admissions process. The entrance requirements are outlined in the points below.

  • 2 passes at Ordinary or Standard grade and 3 passes at Higher ('H') grade or 4 passes at 'H' grade on the Scottish Certificate of Education (SCE).
  • A minimum of two passes at Advanced level ('A') and two passes at Ordinary ('O') level is required for the General Certificate of Education (GCE).
  • International Baccalaureate and other foreign school systems have equivalent grades.

Criteria for PG Students' Eligibility

Students applying to GCU's postgraduate programmes must provide academic and professional certifications demonstrating that they have finished their course and all of its requirements. Academic transcripts can also be requested throughout the application process to obtain information about the modules taken during the undergraduate degree.

 

Indian Students' Eligibility Criteria

Students must also have the following qualifications in addition to the specific entry criteria mentioned for each degree.

 

Undergraduate

  • In the XII Board exams, you must have received 60 percent in each subject from any registered and recognized education board in India.
  • A student must have achieved an equivalent bachelor's degree to advance to Level 2 or 3.

 

Postgraduate

  • A four-year bachelor's degree with a minimum 50 percent or second-class average throughout.
  • A three-year bachelor's degree with a minimum 60% or first-class average throughout the programme.
