  • Established in 1851, the University of the Pacific is a private Methodist-affiliated university in the US. Initially, the University was known as the College of the Pacific. Accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the University offers educational services for degree and diploma programs. It imparts educational services through four of its major campuses. 
  • The University offers over 80 undergraduate areas of study and more than 30 graduate and professional programs. These areas include Applied science and mathematics, Engineering, Computer science, Film studies, Graphic designing, Healthcare, Foreign languages, Media and others. The facilities for the students include a garage and parking lot, central AC and Wi-Fi, mail services, service centres, libraries and resources. 
  • The San Francisco campus of the University of the Pacific is located on the west coast in San Francisco. The campus mainly handles the clinical faculties, with first-hand dental and audiology training courses. The University of the Pacific ranking is currently at 1001st position in QS World University Rankings. 
  • The present acceptance rate of 71% makes the University moderately selective. The classes ensure that a student-faculty ratio of 14:1 is maintained. It has helped them generate a retention rate of 84%. However, the current fees structure might seem unaffordable to international students, between $50,000 and $55,000. 
  • The University offers industry-specific training modules to the students for helping them develop employability skills. Students are prepared to face the employers within months from their graduation. They learn to apply the theories with practical guidelines from the University.
